Garlicky Mashed Potatoes

4 cloves garlic, peeled
2 cups water
1/2 cup butter, cut up
1 1/2 cups hot milk or heavy cream
Salt and ground black pepper
- Place potatoes, garlic, and water into pot. Set OVEN to 350°F for 30 minutes. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender. Turn off pot.
- Mash potatoes with butter and milk. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately or set to SLOW COOK BUFFET for 1 hour or until ready to serve.
